Do I need to download anything?
No. Tempest plays in your browser: press Play and the game loads in the page.
Which browsers work?
The game draws with WebGPU, so it needs a recent desktop browser that has it — current Chrome and Edge do. If the game cannot start, it says so on its loading screen.
How do I make an account?
Create one here with an email and a password. The same email and password sign you in to the website and to the game.
What is an activation code?
While Tempest is in testing, a new account needs a one-time code before it can enter the world. If you were given one, redeem it on your account page; each code works for one account.
Where do I make a character?
In the game: sign in, choose a realm, then create a character at character select. Your characters stay on that realm, and your account page lists them.
How do I change my email or password?
On your account page, under Settings. Changing your password signs you out everywhere else.
Where are the game’s settings?
Under the cog in the top right corner of the game: graphics, sound, interface and keybindings.
